4th Republican Scientific and Practical Conference “National Values as the Foundation of Upbringing”

The conference brought together third- and fourth-year students of Kazakhstani universities and pedagogical colleges specialising in Preschool Education. Its aim was to develop an approach to upbringing grounded in national values and to strengthen students' research and creative abilities. Participants presented papers on national upbringing, preschool pedagogy, digital technology, learning through play, ethnopedagogy, and moral and spiritual values.

By decision of the jury, the following participants won prizes.

FIRST PLACE. Lashyn Aqynbayeva — “Pedagogical foundations of teaching Kazakh national traditions through digital games”. Institution: Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University. Supervisors: A.M. Zhubandykova, Senior Lecturer, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences; O.S. Serikova, Senior Lecturer, Master of Pedagogical Sciences.

SECOND PLACE. Quralay Nurlanqyzy Asylbek and Zhannur Tolegenqyzy Karibay — “Animation studio and artificial intelligence in kindergarten”. Supervisor: Saule Zhomartovna Yerkebayeva, Senior Lecturer, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, PhD.

THIRD PLACE. Sofiya Dulatovna Temiraliyeva — “The influence of Kazakh games on the intellectual development of preschool children”. Supervisor: Zagira Kozhabergenovna Kashkynbayeva, Associate Professor, M.Kh. Dulaty Taraz University, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences.

THIRD PLACE. Aqbota Dastanqyzy Malik and Baqytkul Qairatqyzy Nurmukhanova — “Fairy tales as a child's spiritual nourishment”. Supervisor: Roza Yesentayevna Zhandildina, Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Y. Altynsarin Arqalyq Pedagogical University.

By decision of the jury, the winners received laureate diplomas and cash prizes, and all participants were presented with letters of gratitude.

The conference underlined the importance of embedding national values in the preschool education system and highlighted the relevance of approaches to upbringing that make use of digital technology and modern methods.
